I spent five years as chief stewardess on yachts from 20 to 60 metres — the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, the Atlantic. Every season taught me something new about what guests expect and what it takes to deliver it without them ever noticing the effort. Provisioning was always at the heart of it: the right products, the right timing, presented beautifully. Coming home to Cape Town, I wanted to build the company I always wished existed when I was placing orders from sea. Cape Khaya is that company.

As a private chef working across France, London, and Monaco, the quality of every dish started with what I sourced. I built close relationships with producers across Europe and South Africa, learning that truly exceptional ingredients are rare — and worth seeking out. Bringing that knowledge back to Cape Town felt natural. The Cape is one of the world's great food regions, and through Cape Khaya I get to share the very best of it with every client we serve.
